Hertz CSM no. 06H411 One of approximately 500 modified by Shelby American to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Hertz Rent-A-Racer 4.6L V-8 engine Automatic transmission Black with Gold LeMans and rocker stripes AM/FM/CD stereo 2,000 actual miles Owner's manual In 1966, Shelby gave Hertz rental customers the chance to play race driver when they produced the GT350-H. The first 85 cars ordered had a Black interior and were painted Black with Gold stripes. To commemorate the 40-year anniversary, Ford introduced the 2006 Shelby GT-H at the 2006 New York Auto Show. Featuring the famous Black and Gold paint scheme, it was again available through Hertz Rental Car agencies. Ford Racing provided the Shelby an FR1 Power Pack which added 25 more horsepower and 10 more lb-ft of torque to the GT 4.6L V8 engine. With the FR3 Handling Package, the GT350-H benefit from specially tuned dampers, stiffer lowering springs, thicker sway bars, a strut tower brace, and a Ford Racing 3.55:1 differential. Only 500 were made in 2006. This Shelby GT350-H is CSM no. 06H411, and has an automatic transmission, AM/FM/CD stereo, and has covered just over 2,000 miles since new. Complete with the original owners manual, this instant collectible is another unique piece of Shelby and Mustang history. The hood and front bumper were painted due to some rock chip damage and the replacement stripes were purchased from Shelby America. No accidents and clean Carfax report. This car was registered as a rental vehicle but was not put into rotation as a rental car. Almost all Shelby Hertz cars were sold after being rentals for at least 20k miles. This one was not.
